Best possible supplement for material transport on the nacelle chain hoist:
Chain Interlocking Suspension Device (CID)
Especially for the needs of the onshore / offshore wind industry, Kröger Engineering has developed a chain attachment device and patented it according to the international PCT (Patent Cooperation Treaty). AuG Kiel supports Kröger Engineering in the implementation of assembly, technical documentation, HSE management, marketing and sales.
For assembly, maintenance, repair work, services, rope access technology and in the context of height rescue, a lot of material is needed in the nacelle of a wind turbine.
The special lifting gear has been manufactured by AuG Kiel since 2022. The company is tested and approved according to DIN EN 13414-1 and 13411-3. The special slings are patented and consist of one-hand carabiners (tested and approved according to DIN EN 1677-1), thimbles, clamps and wire rope.
This material is transported into the nacelle by means of the existing on-board crane and a small transport box. Due to hub heights of 100 and more meters, it comes with each trip to long transport routes. During this use of the on-board crane, engine heating quickly occurs and corresponding cooling phases are the result. In order to use the transport routes effectively, the device was designed for all common chain sizes.
Depending on the chain size, the chain attachment device can be loaded with 2x 50 kg or 2x 100 kg and distributed on the crane chain as with paternoster fishing. This Chain Interlocking Suspension Device is available in a variety of variants.
